Andrea Jones is the clinic’s lead podiatrist. She is an HCPC registered podiatrist who graduated from Ulster University with BSc Hons Podiatry. She also holds a BSc Hons Biological Sciences degree from Queen’s University, Belfast, and a PG Cert in International Business Practice (UODLE).
After graduation from Ulster University, Andrea worked for several years in the NHS gaining experience in wound care, musculoskeletal podiatry and nail surgery practice, and was involved in supervision of placement students within the Trust. In 2007 she became a Lecturer in Podiatry at Ulster University and obtained a Post-Graduate Certificate in Higher Education Practice. She held a Fellowship of the Higher Education Authority during her time at Ulster. Alongside her role in academia, Andrea maintained her clinical skills in private practice, operating at several locations over the years including New Forge Country Club.
Andrea continued in her role as a Lecturer until 2022, when she set up Feet Street Podiatry Clinic on Cregagh Road. Andrea specialises in nail surgery, SWIFT verruca treatment and gait analysis, and also offers foot mobilisation therapy, acupuncture, taping, nail fenestration and nail reconstruction alongside core podiatry treatments.
Andrea has had work published in professional journals and is presently completing her PhD at Ulster University. She enjoys engaging in CPD activities to enhance her knowledge and provide her patients with best the possible management.
